Chris Shuttleworth

I know the challenges that business leaders face. I’ve had more than 24 years as a consultant and internal coach—with leadership experience from small firms to a Big 4 partnership, and education from engineering to social science to an MBA—to understand them.

I am passionate about the power of teams. High value generating collaborative teams are a competitive advantage for organisations that develop them. Since 2008 I have been building them by applying Sustainable Leadership principles and practices in my leadership roles within a Big 4 consulting firm. Now, as an EMCC Accredited Team Coach at Practitioner Level, I am sharing my experience and knowledge to support you with building high value generating collaborative teams in your organisation.

Working with me

My approach is systemic and I adopt a multi-layered perspective of the team within its wider context. It combines a traditional consulting advisory approach with coaching techniques and concepts from sociology. You will benefit from my years of research and personal experience while forging your own path towards enabling collaborative behaviour within your team or organisation.

Most importantly – I do more than just supply services to my clients. We will be partners on this journey and I will step into the boat with you. We will plan and chart a course to your destination together, and continue to trim the sails and course correct along the way. And while your journey will be un-ending, my role is to partner with you until such time as you feel ready to sail alone.
